League of Legends(here) is a strategy based online game that is free to play. It is not a sandbox like an MMORPG would be, but instead is based around single games that take anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour+.

LoL(as it’s often referred to as) has a very fair and balanced matchmaking system based on player levels, skills, and match history. In game leveling exists for the champion you choose up to level 18, and resets each game. Summoner levels go up to 30 where in each level you are given a Rune and Mastery slot which you can select certain enhanced stats or effects that would further benefit your champion or playing style. Currently there are 80 different champions to choose from that exist in the roles of AD(physical) carry, AP(Mage) Carry, Tank, Support, and Jungler. There are variations and combinations of these attributes that include ranged, melee, and so on.

My main champion is Singed. I play probably 50/50 between 5v5 & 3v3, and do a lot of custom games like ARAM and the occasional odd game type like Pokelol.

I normally assume the role of Tank/Initiator because most people prefer the excitement of being the team carry and more often than not, you end up with 4 people automatically locking in on some squishy AD champ.

I am definitely not a “Pro” just a casual player who is all about having fun and being a good teammate. My win/loss ratio has never been negative but I’ve broken even several times and it’s normally as close to 50/50 win/loss as anyone can get. I’ve never been banned and only have one leave due to my old router overheating.
