What Drives Edward is a contest on volvo’s website, officially at: http://www.whatdrivesedward.com

The competition is in celebration of the movie “The Twilight Saga: New Moon”, the second film in the saga. In this film, and the first one as well, the character “Edward Cullen” played by Robert Pattinson, drives a Volvo. In Twilight it was a Volvo C30, in New Moon it’s going to be a Volvo XC60. The winner of the sweepstakes on Volvo’s website is awarded a Volvo XC60 for being the very first person to complete all of the puzzles as they are released. So far the first 3 of 6 phases have been released with the 4th 5th and 6th dates being as follows.

Puzzle #1:

Watch the trailer in order to put the frames in proper order. The correct order is as follows:

Puzzle #2:

The Poem from Romeo & Juliet.

Puzzle #2 is a poem from Romeo & Juliet, Act V scene 1 where Romeo is buying poison. It goes as follows:

Apothecary

Put this in any liquid thing you will,
And drink it off; and, if you had the strength
Of twenty men, it would dispatch you straight.

Romeo

There is thy gold, worse poison to men’s souls,
Doing more murders in this loathsome world,
Than these poor compounds that thou mayst not sell.

Puzzle #3

Puzzle #3: Puzzle: Broken glass table. The table is an oval. Move the pieces that don’t have the family symbol on them to the outside and work on designing the symbol. Once that is done you can easily add the outside pieces.

Puzzle #4

Puzzle #4 is one of the harder ones, a Maze where Bella goes to find Edward.

I’m assuming this is a scene that will be in the movie? Bella is in a courtyard filled with people who are between her and Edward and you must find your way through to get to Edward. Follow the steps I make in the video to find your way, it took me many tries as this puzzles times out eventually.

Hint 1: At the beginning you don’t need to go to the right side of the maze twice in order to reach the center fountain area, I just got lost.

Hint 2: You will find that you move two spaces each time you press an arrow key as long as there is nothing in your way such as a guard or a wall. If you find that you have trouble making the steps because you need to move one space up and then over,try hitting two directions at once such as up and left at the same time.

Watch the video for the solution, but try to complete it first, it’s fun!

You need to Push the people onto the letter ARO. No other letters can be highlighted. I did them in order, it was easier that way.

The hint is: Something that changed Edwards life. Well, in 1918 he became a vampire. Since they give you moons, and the story is called “New Moon” line up the new moon cycles from 1918 according to month, so here they are:
