I haven’t posted a blog in a while so it’s been a long time coming. Just yesterday I had to renew this domain which made me realize that I really should pay more attention to this.

2009 has started off very interestingly for me. My New Years resolution was to purchase a new car some time before the end of the year, but it seems to be that is going to happen within the month now instead-yay! I’ll post up some pics as soon as I get it. And purchasing a new car really couldn’t be at a better time for me right now. For the first time in my self employment I can say that I am really financially stable. My web business is KILLING this area lately due to fantastic search engine placement, and I just decided to do some advertising at golf courses here locally. And lately I’m finding that more and more of my projects are actually completing which is a nice change of pace. 2008 was kind of crap for the most part and everyone knows it. Whoever said “2008 is going to be great” obviously cursed the whole year. I’ll go ahead and say that “2009 will probably be fine” and hope my wish for something NORMAL comes true.

As far as all of my projects go, there are some complications to each and every one of them. In 2009 i have a few goals that aren’t crucial to hit, but would be fantastic if I did. Priority #1 is to finish building my office. It’s not going to be anything THAT special, but it would provide me with the space I need(especially wall space) to fully visualize all of my projects. Priority #2 is to construct a file/domain server to manage my network and get my AP’s fully linking to eachother from miles away.

For those of you who may be wondering what happened to my Open Community Game Development company, it’s WAITING. I’ve held back from my previous goals in order to accomplish things for my business first, which I now have. But now I’ve decided to follow some of the advice of Jeff Walker and do a power launch, over 1 weekend where everything is available. Expect to see a VERY interesting series of blogs when this is available because his strategies and tips are really interesting and it’s going to be one hell of an experience. With GITM I plan to take a little extra time to develop an all encompassing game development software suite based on the ideas of some web software I use daily. All OSS and Freeware naturally. I had lots of deadlines for that project in 2008 which ZERO were hit, so this year I’m putting this behind a couple of other priorities like finishing schooling.

Another thing to look out for is a new developer oriented community I’ve been working on. I’m planning to power launch this too, so no URL’s yet, but keep your ear to the ground for something EPIC people. I feel like I’ve already said too much.

There are a lot of things going on with life in general and I know I tend to keep that at a minimal on this blog, so I’ll just mention some things real quick:  Without my families support I wouldn’t be anywhere at all. Without my friends I would be bored and depressed nearly every day. And after 4 years of being without any type of feelings for anyone at all, I’ve finally let down my wall and I’m letting someone in.

I have about 5 other large projects I’m working on right now, but I will bring up the speciffics about them when the time comes.

What I would really enjoy are some subscribers and comments. I need some people to keep me motivated to return to this blog with updates on a daily basis. Any and all feedback is always appreciated so thanks in advance!
